
What is a Common Cause Group?
Acts 2:41-47. A Common Cause Group is a small group of Christian believers or seekers who meet regularly to grow spiritually and impact their surroundings through acts of kindness. It is an environment where life-long friendships are made and community needs are met.
The Common Cause Groups have seven key objectives:
S Spiritual Growth
E Extending Kindness in the Community
R Reproducing Leaders
V Volunteerism
I International Missions
C Caring for One Another
E Explaining Christ’s Message
These groups come together and share a meal, share what is going on in their lives, share times of prayer and teaching in Christ and find projects and opportunities to share the love of Christ in tangible ways within the communities. It may be building a deck for a neighbor in need, yard work for an elderly woman, or helping a family with groceries. To see what kind of things we accomplish, click HERE:
We have several “Common Cause” groups that meet during the week:

- Friday Common Cause Group: meets Friday night at the Giddings home. See John Giddings for more information.
